This is the alternative to doing a tandem jump to experience the thrill of freefall. If you want to have your own parachute and deploy it for yourself then you can make your first jump solo whilst being held onto and helped in freefall by two experienced instructors. The training and jump are the same as for an AFF level one jump so if you enjoy it and want to jump again you will be able to continue with the following levels to pass the Basic course.

Once finished this course you will have obtained the FS1 qualification which is required by the British Parachute Association (BPA) in order to fly safely in formation with other skydivers. Included in our AFF Expert course you will have - after passing the basic program and the consolidation jumps - the coached training jumps and the certification jump at the end of the course.
After your AFF-course the next goal should be to learn to pack your main canopy. In contrast to the reserve canopy which only a licensed person is allowed to pack, every skydiver must be able to pack the main parachute to receive his Licence.
First of all, your instructor repeats the introduction in all components of your gear such as harness, container, 3-ring-system, Cutaway, Cypres etc. Then he will hang up your main parachute and explain you the different parts of the canopy. After a demonstration pack through himself and explaining you what and why he is doing it in this way and what happens if you don't do it like this, you will practice packing by yourself. After several packings under his supervision you will know how to pack easily and have the confidence in your own packing and jump it safely.
The course will take 1 day and can be extended as necessary. For any technical questions the instructor is available at the dropzone during skydiving operation.
