All of our teaching staff are professionals in the sport - they are all champions, world record holders and/or competitive team flyers in addition to having many years of experience as instructors. Even if you decide to come by yourself our friendly team of staff will immediately make you feel at home.
For our English speaking students our courses are taught in English by British instructors. More specifically for our British students the AFF course syllabus adheres to the standards set out by the British Parachute Association (BPA). This means that on returning home you will have all the necessary skills to meet the BPA license requirements.
As a multi-lingual school we also offer courses in German, French, Spanish and naturally Portuguese.

You will work with the same instructor throughout your course…
Our policy at Skydive Proença is for students to complete their whole AFF course with the same instructor. This means you will get to know and trust your instructor and they will get to know you and your specific training needs. Because we have no specific dates when the courses start it also means you can book your course for whenever is convenient to you and start training the same day you arrive if you want. The course will run at your pace so you can choose to do as many or as few jumps in a day as you want (most students do three to four jumps a day). Most students complete their course just a few days after they arrive.

No previous experience is necessary!
To do the AFF course you don't need any previous skydiving or parachuting experience. Our students come from all over Europe but especially from the UK and Ireland and most have never jumped before. The course is designed for total beginners but if you have already started training at a different drop zone and want to complete your course with us then you will be more than welcome.

We can assist you with the booking!
If you need assistance we will gladly help you to book your transfers, travel insurance, accommodation and of course your AFF course. We fully appreciate that making arrangements for a holiday in a foreign country can be difficult so if you prefer, our staff can make all the arrangements for you.

Portugal is a great country to train
There are many positive aspects about training abroad. Compared to England, in Portugal you have better weather conditions all year round, fast connection through Lisbon and Porto airports, lower expenses for traveling, course fees and accommodations.
